Integrative, Depth-Oriented Individual Therapy

My approach to therapy is flexible and holistic. Grounded in interpersonal process approaches and trauma-informed therapies, I view relationships with self and other as the ultimate vehicle for exploration, insight-building, and healing. With this in mind, each session is a collaboration where we join as fellow learners.

Rather than focusing on labels or diagnoses, I aim to assist clients in developing a deep understanding and acceptance of who they are as a whole. Using curiosity blended with knowledge about the human nervous system, I often support clients in exploring how parts of their past continue to be present and influential to their reactions and challenges today. Through these discussions, we develop greater mindfulness, honor their innermost feelings, and learn new ways of interacting with the difficult experiences that remain in the background of their day to day lives.

I believe it’s important for therapy to be flexible and meet each person where they are on a given day. Sometimes that may look like debriefing the week and discussing the high points of life, other times it might be getting down to the nitty-gritty of anxiety and processing the tough stuff. My practice is guided by what feels most important to you. Throughout our time together, I hope to help clients find greater self-compassion, untangle troublesome patterns, and begin building new ways of approaching the world that feel most authentic.
